2008

2008 was the season of ups, downs, and changes for the 11z Race Team.

The season started off with numerous mechanical problems resulting in those dreaded three letters DNF.  Whatever could break, blow or stop, did just that in 2008.

In the middle of all the down side and frustration of the season, that glimmer of light came in mid season when Bryan drove the Randy Korte 00 for 3 weeks and won several heat races and features.  Then came some decisions and changes.  An old yet new engine builder, “Creason Racing Engines” came on board and a different chassis, “Rocket” was purchased.  Starting with the different chassis in mid-season was a whole new challenge for the 11z team, but they worked through it enough to finish 2nd at I-55 Speedway in Pevely, MO with 4 feature wins and ended a difficult season at Tri-City Speedway in Pontoon Beach, IL with 1 feature win and 6th place.  2008 is over and Bryan and his team are looking forward to a much better 2009 season.

As this season ended, his goal was accomplished. He won the Late Model Track Championship at both I-55 and Tri-City.
